Requesting Microsoft Office Software
California Montessori Project primarily utilizes Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) for its back-office applications. These tools serve as direct replacements for Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
However, we understand that some staff may be more familiar with—or have advanced expertise in—the Microsoft Office suite. If using Microsoft Office is essential to your productivity or workflow, we may be able to accommodate your request.
To request a Microsoft Office license:
Go to the CMP IT Helpdesk: https://cacmp.freshdesk.com/support/home
Submit a ticket under the category "Purchasing Request"
For Purchasing Options, select:
Technology
Software Licensing
In the subject and description fields, clearly state your request for a Microsoft Office license, including justification or specific needs.
Complete all required fields and submit the ticket.
What happens next:
We will contact your designated Approver (as listed in the ticket) to obtain purchase approval.
Once the license is received, it will be assigned to you.
Installation will be handled by the IT department, as it requires special administrative credentials.
